Shapewear bodysuit with a backless cut

A one-piece shaper that smooths the waist and back under clothing, cut low at the back so it stays hidden under backless and low-back dresses. The straps come off and can be worn several ways, and there is a snap opening at the base so you do not have to take the whole piece off.

What it is

  • Straps: clear straps, removable and adjustable, so the piece works with a backless, halter or strapless outfit.
  • Closure: snap opening at the base.
  • Back: full back coverage through the upper back, cut low enough to stay under a backless dress.
  • Fabric: 77% Lycra nylon, 23% spandex.
  • Care: machine wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low.

Sizing

It comes in S, M/L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, in black, beige and brown. These are combined brackets: S and M/L cover two conventional sizes each, and the fabric has enough stretch to sit between them. Choose by your waist measurement rather than your dress size, and take the larger bracket if you are at the top of one.

Swimwear

Swim tops and bikini sets run one size smaller than lingerie because of the stretch in swim fabric. If you wear M in lingerie, choose L in swimwear for the same coverage. One-piece swimsuits follow the lingerie table above.

Harnesses and adjustable pieces

Harnesses and Goddess accessories are adjustable and fit a range rather than one size. Where a product says adjustable, it fits UK 6 to 16.

How to measure

Bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level and not tight. Waist: measure at the narrowest point, usually just above the navel. Hip: measure at the fullest point, about 20 cm below the waist. Measure over underwear, not over clothes.
